On April 6, 2020, were published the results from the Competition for project proposals for inclusion in National Roadmap of Research Infrastructure (NRRI) announced by the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Bulgaria in June 2019.
One of the approved project proposals was that of the Research Infrastructure for Advanced Studies of Biomolecules, Biomembranes and Biosignals (BioMMS), with Consortium coordinator the Institute of Biophysics and Biomedical Engineering and consortium partners the “Acad. Roumen Tsanev” Institute of Molecular Biology and “Acad. Georgi Nadjakov” Institute of Solid State Physics.
NRRI is the main instrument facilitating the researchers’ access to cutting-edge scientific equipment aimed at conducting international-level competitive research. The project’s inclusion in the NRRI is a recognition for the strategic importance and capacity of the candidates in developing research infrastructure complexes.
