BioMMS will offer the research activities and services in the following research directions:
- discovery of new molecular mechanisms and interactions;
- introduction of innovations in pharmacology, chemo- and bioinformatics;
- development of new technologies, services and business products in the areas of translational and personalized medicine;
- development and optimization of algorithms, methods and devices for medical diagnostics and therapeutic use;
- lecture courses and practical trainings.
BioMMS will provide an opportunity for enhancing the research capacity of scientists, and especially of young scientists – graduates, PhD students and postdoctoral students:
- participation in training in the country and abroad, organized by specialists in the field;
- participation in trainings organized by companies providing specialized equipment;
- participation in scientific forums for presenting the scientific results obtained from the use of the newly established infrastructure;
- short-term and long-term work visits to specialized laboratories in the country and abroad, with the purpose of training for using newly acquired scientific equipment which is unique for Bulgaria
- training through specialized courses, upon demand from scientific and academic organizations, as well as from the businesses relevant to the scientific scope of the infrastructure.
